What is the processing time of my order and how does it work?

  • Under normal circumstances your package will be shipped within 2 or 3 business days.
  • EU Shipping. If nevertheless your country is not listed as a shipping option, please check our store locator for a store nearby.
  • Shipping times may increase during holidays and other peak seasons. For up to date information about your parcel please check the carriers website. 

What happens in case of a failed delivery/returned to sender?

  • If the package cannot be delivered to the given shipping address due to causes ascribable to the absent cooperation of the customer ( wrong or incorrect shipping address, absent receiver,) or if the customer refuses to collect the package, the package will be returned to the sender ( at the customers expense. The expense includes shipping costs and any duty and tax the package may have incurred; this amount will be deducted from the total of the order to be refunded.

Are there any restrictions?

  • Unable to ship to PO boxes.
  • Unable to combine separate orders into a single shipment.
  • Unable to change any shipping addresses. We will only ship to the address entered at the time the order was originally placed.



How do I return my Place du Soleil item(s)? 

We hope you are happy with your purchase. 

In case you are not 100% happy with the order you received and If you wish to make use of the right of withdrawal, you are obligated to make this known within 14 days after receipt of the product.

To return items, please follow these steps:

  1. Place the item(s) you would like to return back in the bag/box you received them in or any other solid bag/carton box. Close the bag/box securely, using sufficient tape.
  2. Send us an email to info@placedusoleil.nlPlease include:
    1. Your tracking number of the returned goods (mandatory, this is your proof of shipment)
    2. Your ordernumber (this is mentioned in your order conformation).
    3. The item(s) you would like to return (style number is mentioned in your order conformation, begins with 'SS21 ....')
  3. Take the box to your local DHL servicepoint and send it to:

  4. After we received your item(s), refunds will be returned to the original form of payment within 14 days.

What are the rules for a return of a Place du Soleil item bought in the webshop?

  • Item(s) must be sent back in original/sale-able condition. The item(s) must be unharmed, not worn, unaltered, and free from any odors. Item(s) must be in original packaging, with tags still attached. 
  • You need to prove that the delivered goods have been returned on time by means of proof of shipment with trackingnumber. 
  • If item(s) do not fit these requirements, it will be sent back to the customer at his/her expense. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine if returned merchandise is in sale-able condition.
  • We are a small company , customers are responsible for returns at their cost. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • We do not offer credit notes and all refunds will be returned to the original form of payment, within 10-14 days after we’ve received your package.
  • Place du Soleil is not liable to refund any shipping costs unless the order is canceled before the order is shipped.
